A United Nations (UN) report stated that it would take until 2040 to rebuild all homes that have been destroyed in Gaza if the war were to stop today. This comes as a senior UN official stated that Gaza has more rubble and war debris than Ukraine. The rubble in Gaza is also contaminated with hazardous and disease-causing materials.
