N Chandrasekaran has been reappointed as Tata Sons Chairman as the company's board voted against Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata's opposition to the tenure extension, reports said. Noel's vote was countered by Vice Chairman Venu Srinivasan. Noel, who recorded his dissent, wanted the board to focus on finding a new Chairman after Chandrasekaran announced his exit last month.
