India generated foreign exchange revenue worth $143 million (over ₹1,242 crore) by launching foreign satellites during the period from 2015 to 2024, Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh said. A total of 393 foreign satellites have been launched on a commercial basis on board ISRO's PSLV, LVM3 and SSLV launch vehicles. India has launched satellites for 34 countries so far.
