The Madhya Pradesh High Court has acquitted two murder convicts who had spent 14 years in jail, stating that the prosecution’s case was full of "serious lapses". The court noted that the trial court had relied on a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report from another case while convicting them in 2012. An unidentified police official had written the FIR.
