World number 457 Dhakshineswar Suresh defeated world number 162 Guy Den Ouden 6-4, 7-6(4) to secure India 3-2 win against Netherlands in first round of 2026 Davis Cup Qualifiers. India have now won three consecutive Davis Cup ties for the first time since 2013-2014. India entered second Qualifier round for the first time since new format was introduced in 2019.
