Iran had secretly shipped 70 million barrels of crude oil worth around $6 billion to China during a brief pause in US restrictions, WSJ reported. During the one-month window in late June, Iranian oil tankers arrived at a transfer zone off Malaysia's eastern coast and transferred oil using large hoses. The oil was then sent to Chinese refiners, report added.
