Atishi has been elected by AAP MLAs as the new CM of Delhi. Among the probable reasons for her elections is her taking the centre stage following Arvind Kejriwal's arrest in March. She led AAP's charge during Lok Sabha elections and held several portfolios after she was sworn-in as a minister. She is also among the party's most-educated leaders.
