Ludhiana hockey body seeks ₹20 crore aid for PAU stadium upgrade

Hockey Ludhiana treasurer Col Jasjit Singh has written to CM Bhagwant Mann seeking ₹20 crore to upgrade the Olympian Prithipal Singh Hockey Stadium at PAU to international standards. The demand follows Ludhiana being excluded from hosting Asian Champions Trophy matches. Proposed upgrades include synthetic turf repair, LED floodlights, modern changing rooms, and digital scoreboards.
