Veteran filmmaker K Bhagyaraj's family honoured his final wish and donated his eyes to those in need. Soon after he breathed his last, his family informed an eye hospital, and a medical team arrived at his Nungambakkam residence to carry out the corneal donation procedure. Bhagyaraj passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest at the age of 73.
