External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India has received Bangladesh's request to extradite former PM Sheikh Hasina, adding, "The request is being taken into consideration given the legalities that are involved." This comes as Hasina reportedly plans to revive the Awami League. Hasina has been living in India since fleeing Dhaka after her government's collapse in August 2024.
