The output of eight core sectors including coal, crude oil, natural gas, refinery products, fertilisers, steel, cement and electricity grew by 3.1% in November 2021, as per data released by the Ministry of Commerce. The output for these core sectors had grown by 7.5% in October and the growth rate during the April-November period of 2021-22 stood at 13.7%.
