French game developer Ubisoft, recognised for its Assassins Creed and Far Cry franchises, confirmed laying off 185 employees and shutting down its Ubisoft Leamington Studio based in the UK. The Ubisoft layoffs are announced as a part of company's broader strategy to restructure its business and cut costs.
