India's gems and jewellery exports plunged 35.23% YoY to $1.78 billion in March, as demand dipped amid trade disruptions due to the ongoing Iran war, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council data showed. Cut and polished diamond exports were down 27.48% YoY at $838.75 million due to weak demand. Gold jewellery exports also reduced 48.11% YoY to $655.92 million.
