Viral image shows complex math CAPTCHA to check ticket status; IRCTC clarifies

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has clarified that a viral image showing a complex mathematical CAPTCHA for checking train ticket booking status is not authentic. The railway ticketing agency said its website currently uses a simple arithmetic CAPTCHA involving basic addition or subtraction with two-digit numbers. IRCTC said the circulated image appears to be fabricated.
