Ultrathin, flexible diamond membranes can generate electricity: Study

Researchers from University of Hong Kong found ultrathin, highly flexible diamond membranes can generate electricity. They added that the thin form could bend much more than bulk diamond and showed stable voltage signals when flexed. Researchers added that the voltage produced by the diamond membrane was consistent over extensive cycling experiments conducted under controlled conditions.
