Denmark Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, who landed in Greenland's Nuuk on Wednesday, said that the US shall not take over the territory, adding, "Greenland belongs to the Greenlanders." Frederiksen added that she wanted to support Greenland in this "very, very difficult situation". Her visit came less than a week after US Vice President JD Vance visited the semi-autonomous territory.
