Coal stock depletion at power plants slows 50% in October

India's Ministry of Coal said daily coal stock drawdown at power plants fell from 0.243 MT in September to 0.116 MT in October — a 50%+ slowdown. Supplies rose ~36% from September's lowest level, with railway loading averaging 465 rakes/day. Inventories are stabilising but yet to recover, the Ministry said.
