India emerges as Europe’s key diesel supplier as Russian, US shipments weaken
India has emerged as a key diesel supplier to Europe amid weakened US shipments and low Russian exports over Ukraine-war related sanctions, reported PTI citing Vortexa data. About 200,000 barrels per day of diesel and gasoil passed through the Bab-el-Mandeb route toward Europe in August, nearly returning to last year's levels. India supplied around 60% of this volume.
