The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting searches at 18 premises in Tamil Nadu's Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Coimbatore and Madurai in connection with the alleged scam in recruitment of teachers to polytechnic colleges by teachers recruitment board in 2017. The agency said that the action is based on an FIR registered by the Central Crime Branch in 2017.
