Legendary actor Raj Kapoor's nephew Monty Premnath, in a recent interview, recalled the making of 'Mera Naam Joker' and revealed the financial difficulties his uncle faced in releasing the film. Monty said, "Raj uncle even mortgaged his wife Krishna's gold bangles for the film." Raj Kapoor previously said, "I earned it all because of films, and I've invested it all."
