OpenAI has told employees to act as if it's a "code red" and shift focus to coding tools and business users, WSJ reported. Calling rival Anthropic's success a "wake-up call", OpenAI's CEO of Applications, Fidji Simo, said, "We cannot miss this moment because we're distracted by side quests." The company reportedly also declared code red last year amid increasing competition.
