J&K medical interns get show-cause notice amid strike against low pay

Medical interns in Jammu and Kashmir received a show-cause notice amid their strike over low stipend and 36-hour shifts. The notice called the strike "gross indiscipline and professional misconduct" while warning that their internship could be suspended or cancelled. The principal of SKIMS Medical College said the interns submitted affidavits promising to "not be involved in any kind of strike".
