Anant Singh-backed candidate loses Patna MLC seat to JD(U)'s Neeraj Kumar

JD(U)'s Neeraj Kumar has won the Patna Graduates' constituency seat for the fourth consecutive time, despite Mokama MLA Anant Singh backing Jan Suraaj Party's Anuj Singh. Anant Singh was expelled from the JD(U) for six years on October 24 for supporting a candidate from another party while still being a JD(U) member.
