New Zealand head coach Gary Stead has said that captain Kane Williamson is likely to be out of action for eight to nine weeks to recover from his recurring elbow injury. Stead further said that the captain is "unlikely" to undergo surgery. "If we don't have to cut a tendon, our choice is not to do that," Stead added.
