Hockey India strips DG RK Srivastava of all powers over saffron jersey row, other lapses

Hockey India president Dilip Tirkey stripped Director General RK Srivastava of all powers and served him a show-cause notice over eight alleged lapses. The charges include changing India's jersey from blue to saffron without presidential or Executive Committee approval and travelling to the World Cup despite instructions to remain in India. Srivastava has four weeks to respond to the notice.
