LG TVs caught spying even when they're off & disconnected from the internet

A Gamers Nexus investigation found LG TVs spying on users. The TVs identified several devices connected to a common internet network and collected nearby Wi-Fi names and signal information, which could build a detailed profile of what users watch and the devices they use. The TVs also recorded audio, including when they were switched off or disconnected from the internet.
