Dogs' brains began to shrink at least 5,000 years ago: Study

A new study published in Royal Society Open Science has found that dogs' brains began shrinking at least 5,000 years ago. Researchers used CT scans of 185 modern and 22 prehistoric wolf and dog skulls to track brain size changes. Late Neolithic dogs had brains 46% smaller than contemporary wolves.
