Mumbai lake levels rise to 7.18% amid intense rainfall

Mumbai's drinking water reserves rose to 7.18 per cent of total live storage capacity after continuous heavy rainfall across the city and catchment areas. Vihar recorded the highest useful storage among the seven lakes, while the IMD warned of more heavy rainfall across Mumbai and the Konkan region.
