Uttarakhand ends Friday holidays in Madrasas, announces Sunday weekly off

Madrasas recognised by Uttarakhand State Authority for Minority Education (USAME) will observe Sunday as their weekly holiday instead of Friday, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said. "There should be a consistent system for everyone and all educational institutions should move in same direction," Dhami added. "Institutions failing to comply with prescribed standards won't be allowed to operate," he stated.
