EVM malfunction triggers unrest in WB's Howrah amid voting, 2 held

An alleged EVM glitch sparked clashes in West Bengal's Howrah during phase 2 of polling. The central forces resorted to a lathi-charge and arrested two people in connection with the matter. Few people were carried away by CRPF personnel. The voters said voting began at 8.30 am after three failed attempts to vote, owing to a machine malfunctioning.
