US denies payout to widow of soldier killed in Iran, tells her the conflict is not a war

The widow of US Air Force Major Alex Klinner, who was killed while fighting Iran, said she was told she was ineligible for additional benefits because Congress hadn't formally declared war. "My husband lost...life because we're in war, and...I was told that because it’s not...war, we lose out on something," she said. Officials later acknowledged that she received wrong information.
