Indian Railways plans doorstep parcel service in 8 cities

Indian Railways is planning a doorstep parcel pickup and delivery service in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Pune. CRIS is developing the app and website for bookings, tracking, and digital payments. Private logistics partners will handle first- and last-mile delivery, while Railways handles intercity transport. Launch date is yet to be announced.
