Sitting less during pregnancy could lower complications risk by 50%, claims study

Sitting less and moving more during the pregnancy could lower the risk of complications by 50%, a study has claimed. Around 42% of participants who were sedentary for 10 hours or more a day experienced a complication. Meanwhile, among the women who sat the least, fewer than one in five experienced complications. Even standing instead of sitting reduces the risk.
