Tata Group stocks jump up to 14% after Chandrasekaran's reappointment

Shares of Tata Group companies surged up to 14% on Thursday after the Tata Sons board reportedly approved the reappointment of N Chandrasekaran as chairman. Tata Chemicals shares rose roughly 14% before paring some gains and ending 5.7% higher. Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, Tata Investment Corporation and Tata Consultancy Services also rose.
