Traders bet on duration of White House presser, make 50x gains as it ends 28 secs before limit
A trader claimed that multiple traders bet on prediction marketplace Polymarket on the duration of White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt's January 7 presser. The presser had a 98% chance of running over 65 minutes, "until Leavitt abruptly ended it" with 28 seconds to spare. He further claimed that traders who bet on 'no' made 50x gains in seconds.
