Bihar CM Nitish Kumar announced that ₹2 lakh each will be given to families of 11 devotees from the state who were killed in Maha Kumbh stampede that claimed the lives of 30 people. The government also announced ₹50,000 each to the injured devotees from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. The stampede took place in the early hours of Wednesday.
