Following deaths of 25 people in a fire at the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Goa, authorities sealed two nightclubs as part of a statewide crackdown. Cafe CO2 at Vagator beach was shut after a government-appointed team said it lacked an NOC from Fire and Emergency Services Department. Goya Club in Vagator was also sealed for alleged violations.
