The European Commission on Monday said US-based AI firm OpenAI has offered it open access to its cybersecurity tools and features. The commission's spokesperson Thomas Regnier said they have had four to five meetings with Anthropic but cannot speculate on access to similar tools. We will work to democratise access to defensive tools, OpenAI for Countries head George ‌Osborne said.
