DLI-backed Indian startup achieves first-pass success with VIHAAN chip
A Design Linked Incentive (DLI) Scheme-backed Indian semiconductor startup Aheesa has achieved first-pass silicon success with 'VIHAAN', an indigenous broadband chip built using VEGA microprocessor. Designed for fibre broadband applications, the chip will now move towards production tape-out, targeted for 2027. The government said DLI-supported companies have raised over $100 million in capital.
