Ivory Coast began their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign with a late 1-0 win over Ecuador in Philadelphia. Amad Diallo produced a strike into the bottom corner in the 90th minute to give the African side three points and their first FIFA World Cup win in 12 years. Ivory Coast are now placed second on the Group E points table.
