Sold house, almost sold Zee & repaid ₹43,000 crore: Chandra

Zee Founder Subhash Chandra said he had repaid approximately ₹43,000 crore of ₹45,000-crore total debt while reacting to a 99.97% haircut on ₹22,000-crore dues. “We sold our assets...almost sold company, we didn't keep anything. We even sold our house, but we paid everyone's money,” Chandra said. “I have only ₹6.5 crore...I'm managing with rent from a small house,” he added.
