A cutting-edge system is under development to automatically impose fines at petrol pumps for vehicles lacking valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates. Violators may face fines of up to Rs 10,000, promoting compliance and safer roads through proactive enforcement. Violators will be provided with 24 hours to issue new certificate.
