Amid the ongoing dispute within Mewar royal family, five individuals, including BJP MLA Vishvaraj Singh Mewar, were granted permission to perform Dhuni Darshan ceremony inside Udaipur City Palace. The Dhuni ceremony was performed after Vishvaraj was formally anointed as new Maharana. On Tuesday, Singh and his supporters were denied entry to the palace by his cousin Lakshay Raj Singh Mewar.
