Reddit's largest open-source community bans all AI projects

Popular Reddit forum r/opensource, which has over 5,00,000 members, banned all AI-related projects, including software using AI, created by AI or built for AI to combat low-quality AI spam. It also said all projects must be at least one year old and have multiple contributors. The move has triggered backlash and the launch of an AI-friendly community called r/TrueOpenSource.
