Madhya Pradesh High Court has nullified the victory of Congress MLA Mukesh Malhotra from the Vijaypur Assembly seat during the by-election in 2024 and declared BJP leader Ramniwas Rawat as the winner. The High Court ruled that Malhotra had failed to provide complete details of four criminal cases in the affidavit submitted with his nomination papers during the by-election.
