In a first, India Post delivers Tiranga by drone in Himachal Pradesh

In a first-of-its-kind initiative, India Post delivered the Tiranga by drone from Mandi Head Post Office to Rehardhar Branch Post Office in Himachal Pradesh on the eve of Independence Day. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia virtually inaugurated the operation. The initiative showcased the use of drone technology to improve last-mile postal connectivity in remote and difficult terrains.
