Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav expressed deep sorrow over the death of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. Akhilesh Yadav praised Singh's economic leadership, saying, "He was a PM who strengthened the country economically." Lalu Prasad described Singh's passing as a personal loss, adding, "I continued to receive his abundant love."
