15 out of 17 prisoners who escaped from Tamil Nadu jail caught again

Two more of the 17 undertrial prisoners who escaped from Thekkampatti sub-jail in Tamil Nadu's Theni district have been recaptured, taking the total to 15, with two still at large. They fled through the prison's main gate after faking a medical emergency and overpowering the guards after they opened the cell door. Nine prison personnel were earlier suspended for negligence.
