The penny stock, Kshitij Polyline surged nearly 5% to ₹6.25 on Monday from its previous close of ₹5.96, despite Sensex falling over 700 points and Nifty trading 1% lower. Its trading activity more than doubled, with around 64 lakh shares changing hands. Kshitij Polyline hit its upper circuit limit, leading to a pause in trading for rest of the session.
