Odisha Cabinet approves free textbooks for 28.7 lakh students

Odisha Cabinet, chaired by CM Mohan Charan Majhi, approved free textbooks for 28.7 lakh Class 9-10 students in government schools, costing ₹284 crore over five years. It also cleared a ₹500-crore urban drainage scheme and a ₹176-crore disaster recovery data centre at Keonjhar to safeguard critical government digital services.
