Rigo Mendoza, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico, has decided to leave the US after his 15-year-old son Kevin died of cancer days after his mother was detained by ICE. Mendoza said his son's condition worsened after his mother's detention. The family will return to Mexico with Kevin’s remains, saying they no longer feel safe staying back.
